Sensational smooth jazz artists Dave Koz, David Benoit, Rick Braun, and Peter White are bringing their signature sounds to the Florida Theater!

David S. "Dave" Koz was born in 1963 in Encino (California) and is a smooth jazz saxophonist. He began his musical journey by playing saxophone as a member of his school's jazz band and went on to study mass communication at University of California, Los Angeles. After graduation, he decided to pursue a career in music and just few weeks later, he was asked to tour with renowned singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist Robert Hunter "Bobby" Caldwell. He then worked as a session musician in many bands and also toured with keyboardist, composer, and record producer Jeff Lorber. He then joined Richard Marx (adult contemporary and pop/rock singer-songwriter and musician) in his band and toured with them during the late 80s. In 1990, Dave decided to pursue a solo career and released his eponymous debut album shortly thereafter. He went on to have a stellar solo career with 19 studio albums and 19 singles. His music has also been featured on the compilation albums The Weather Channel Presents: The Best of Smooth Jazz and The Diamond You. He’s received many accolades including 9 Grammy Award nominations and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
